The Washboard Union (Country) | Aug 9
Aaron Grain and Chris Duncombe met in Kelowna at age 15 before moving to Vancouver where they met David Roberts. The three began writing and singing together and eventually performed under the handle Run GMC before changing to The Washboard Union. Their eponymous debut album was released in 2012 and followed up three years later with the critically acclaimed In My Bones. The five-time Country Music Award winners have defied classification and have become one of the most exciting and talked about new bands in the genre.
