The Visitor Centre is located in the City of Peterborough, Ontario, Canada at 270 George Street North. Open year-round, this state-of-the-art facility was designed to represent the rich cottaging history of the region and provides a wide selection of free information including travel guides, brochures, road maps and trail guides. Trained travel counselors are available to assist in making your visit to Peterborough & the Kawarthas an exceptional experience. The site is fully accessible providing a public telephone, computer services with internet access, and washrooms with change stations. 

The Visitors Centre has an after-hours information box for your convenience with copies of our Experience Directory and Visitor Maps.

Where to Shop?
Lansdowne Place is a shopping centre with over 100 stores so there is something for everyone. Or shop at one of the many local downtown businesses. Our festival runs every Wednesday and Saturday which lands on the Peterborough Farmers Markets days. Open Wednesdays 8:30pm to 2:00pm in the Louis Street parking lot and Saturdays 7am-1pm in the Memorial Centre parking lot. Please come and see what is offered by the best in the Kawartha region!
