Yes. Bathrooms are located in the marina building behind the stage and the Art Gallery at the back of park.

At Peterborough Musicfest, we pride ourselves on being Canada’s longest-running free concert series. While we are working towards being barrier-free so that all individuals are able to access free music, the city has limitations within the 4 acre park that we rent. Given the nature of the terrain and our best efforts, there may be some challenges for individuals who require wheelchairs or motorized scooters throughout the entire park.

Brand new this year, we have created an Accessible Seating Area at the south end of the park, free to persons with disabilities who require seating. This area is accessed on a first-come, first-serve basis. We recommend individuals arrive early to the park as unfortunately we are not able to block off or reserve seats which is consistent with other concert attendees.

There are a small number of accessible parking spaces available in the lot next to Del Crary Park, also accessed on a first-come, first-serve basis. (Please note, parking is free Saturdays + Sundays, Pay and Display on weekdays).  Alternatively, there is a drop-off area near the Art Gallery of Peterborough, close to the Accessible Seating Area, for your convenience. Accessible washrooms are located near the ground level of the Lighthouse Pub, and accessible Port-a-potties are provided on our larger concert nights.

Our professional sound crew works very hard to balance the need to fill a four acre park with excellent quality sound as well as the need of area residents to not feel overwhelmed by our concerts. We recognize that the sound level will not please everyone, and may be too loud for some. This is why we strongly encourage all concert goers – especially children – to wear protective ear wear. If you find yourself in the park without ear plugs, we offer them free of charge, courtesy of Hear Canada, at the info booth and at the entrance to the VIP section every night.

Volunteers are available in the park during our show hours to assist you and answer your questions. Peterborough Paramedics are also onsite for premier shows, please visit their tent at the south end of the park by the Art gallery, if you require their assistance.

Photography during shows is permitted however, audio and/or videotaping of artist performances is NOT allowed. This includes live-streaming, and is in accordance with copyright laws that are in place to protect the artist’s material.

Please see any volunteer during show hours and they will do their best to help you retrieve your misplaced item(s). Anything that has not been claimed by the end of the evening will be left with the Peterborough Marina office.

Accredited media professionals may send email inquiries within 48hours of the concert date of interest at tickets@ptbomusicfest.ca. Please note: media passes are strictly limited and our local media partners are given priority.

During its history, Peterborough Musicfest has been very lucky in terms of the weather. However, operating in poor weather conditions poses potential problems and safety concerns for Musicfest organizers. While we do our best to proceed with all concerts, the safety of the entertainers, audience and staff/volunteers is our main concern.

If a storm occurs during show time, a cancellation announcement will be made on stage. We will not make a cancellation call until 7:55pm, five minutes before showtime. Rescheduling is not always guaranteed.
