Legendary Canadian rocker Kim Mitchell returns to Peterborough Musicfest to close out the 2025 season on Saturday, August 16, at 8:00 PM at Del Crary Park! Known for his electrifying performances and timeless hits, Mitchell promises a night of high-energy rock to wrap up another incredible summer of live music.
With a career spanning over 45 years, Mitchell first made waves with Max Webster, the iconic band he co-founded in the ‘70s. They became a staple of the Canadian rock scene, earning gold and platinum records along the way. After going solo in the ‘80s, Mitchell shot to international fame with his album Akimbo Alogo, featuring the hit Go For A Soda, which climbed the U.S. charts and even appeared on Miami Vice. His 1986 album Shakin’ Like A Human Being cemented his status, delivering fan favourites like Patio Lanterns, Easy To Tame, and Alana Loves Me.
This marks Mitchell’s fifth Musicfest appearance, following memorable shows in 1997, 2002, 2012, and 2017. His 2012 performance was so highly anticipated that when rain forced a reschedule, fans packed Del Crary Park for an unforgettable rebooked show.
Don’t miss your chance to experience one of Canada’s most celebrated rockers live on the Fred Anderson Stage. As always, admission is FREE, thanks to the generous support of our sponsors. Get ready to sing along to the classics and rock out under the stars as we send off the 2025 season in style!
